Certification the bill requires
'Labeled and listed by a nationally recognized testing laboratory' (definition). On and after 2027-01-01, devices over 391 W may not be sold, leased or rented unless UL labeled and listed. UL 3700 is not named in the act.
Notification
At utility discretion. Act text: the provider 'may require a customer to notify the provider' of the device's presence and size in kW; the provider shall not require approval before installation or use.
